Qt is open-source.

I would guess it's coming from the platform integration plugin so it's either not built correctly in your local Qt or can not connect to your WM/DM.

Thanks for the quick response SGaist. I was guessing that it was something along those lines.

I also wanted to know whether to submit a bug report. One concern is that there might be other help links elsewhere in the interface that also aren't working. I'll probably go ahead and submit one but if anyone else with 3.4.0 installed can check on their system then I'll have some idea of whether it's just me or not.
